Want to listen to court opinions without the distracting citations? Upload this Claude skill into your Claude account [Customize, Skills, Add, Upload a skill], start a new chat, attach the opinion you want to listen to, ask Claude to create an easy-to-listen-to version, and let the skill go to work.
Once Claude produces a stripped-down version of the opinion, simply download the TXT file and upload it to your favorite text-to-speech app. (I recommend ElevenReader.)
It’s not perfect (some citation residue will survive, and you may have to tell it to “keep going” if it gets stuck), but it’s pretty amazing all the same.
